Finnish Second Lieutnant ”vänrikki” in long range patrol duty with field cap Model 1927 and summer jacket m/1936 and trousers model 1927. Hand grenade Model 1932 and pistol holster for m/23 Parabellum in caliber 7,65×21. Extra Suomi SMG m/1931-I with two 70 round drum magazines and gunsling.

Green-brown Model 1927 garments were withdrawn from field duty on spring 1942 because their colour was too close to soviet uniform colour.

Officers and especially junior officers were generally not permitted to wear mustache and beard but that was not uncommon practice in long range patrol duty.
